The Kawa runs a 3D robotic roller engine along an extended L-track that reaches from the back of the head and neck down the spine, under the glutes, to the backs of the thighs — aiming for continuous coverage rather than stopping at the lower back. Air-cell technology positions and stretches the body through the back, shoulders, arms and legs, while a dedicated foot unit combines pressure-point rollers with air compression. Ten pre-choreographed programs (including region-specific Upper Back, Lower Back and full-body Stretch routines, plus styles like Swedish and Balinese) or fully custom manual settings are controlled from a large touchscreen remote that switches between several Japanese-relevant languages. It's built to be space-efficient, needing only about an inch of clearance behind the backrest to reach full recline, and includes Bluetooth surround-sound speakers in the headrest along with quick-access armrest controls for power, auto-programs, recline and zero gravity.
